About Dr. Magdalena Fudyma, Psy.D
Dr. Magdalena Fudyma completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University, Chicago. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, at Argosy University. Dr. Fudyma’s experiences have engendered a keen appreciation for cultural differences which allows her to incorporate these differences in treatment when relevant. Dr. Maggie Fudyma is bilingual and conducts psychotherapy in English and Polish.
Dr. Maggie Fudyma has extensive experience working with individuals dealing with numerous psychological illnesses. She has worked in diverse settings including private practices, college counseling centers, hospitals and schools. Dr. Fudyma strives to help clients overcome emotional challenges and get greater enjoyment out of life. Each person experiences their own unique challenges, and she believes that therapy must be tailored to meet those individual needs. Dr. Maggie Fudyma utilizes evidence-based therapies in her practice and believes that psychotherapy is a relational and collaborative process. Nurturing, nonjudgmental understanding, respect and honesty are at the heart of the therapeutic relationship she hopes to develop with each client.
Dr. Maggie Fudyma works with adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, conflicting relationships, life transitions, existential issues, loss, cultural, ethnic and racial identity struggles.
