About Dr. Magdalena Fudyma, Psy.D

Dr. Magdalena Fudyma completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University, Chicago. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, at Argosy University. Dr. Fudyma’s experiences have engendered a keen appreciation for cultural differences which allows her to incorporate these differences in treatment when relevant. Dr. Maggie Fudyma is bilingual and conducts psychotherapy in English and Polish. She is licensed in two states of Florida and Illnois. Dr. Fudyma has extensive experience working with individuals dealing with numerous psychological illnesses. She has worked in diverse settings including private practices, college counseling centers, hospitals and schools.  Dr. Fudyma strives to help clients overcome emotional challenges and get greater enjoyment out of life.  Each person experiences their own unique challenges, and she believes that therapy must be tailored to meet those individual needs. Dr. Maggie Fudyma integrates evidence-based therapies into her practice, emphasizing the importance of psychotherapy as a relational and collaborative process. She offers a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-focused techniques.
